Message from the president:

Our 5th annual Joan Padmore Memorial Tournament once again, was a huge success! With everyone’s help and generosity, we are able to sponsor Clare $1400 in her Becel Ride for Heart benefiting the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

We would like to thank Anita Merlo from Bosley Real Estate for supplying prizes and sponsoring a team. A special thank you to those who volunteered their time selling tickets and helped keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

This year’s tournament was once again well attended by family and friends who were treated to great ball hockey being played exhausted ladies who played through heat and injuries. Congratulations to the Withrow Knights who won the tournament this year and graciously donated their winnings.

We would like to grow our tournament next year to include 4 more teams.

On behalf of the TWBHA executive, thank you to players, coaches, family and friends for making this tournament so successful!

2016 Tournament Winners: Withrow

Our 2016 season is underway!!

Check our facebook page for weekly photos for games from both the east and the west.

Our east houseleague registration is full, however there is a waiting list. Please feel free to register and you may still be placed on a team.

Our West Houseleague is now underway.  We do have a couple of remaining spots for “spare” players.  A spare player is someone that cannot make a commitment to a team for the entire season but, could play on an as needed basis to fill in when a team might need a player. Spares are important during vacation season as they can make the difference in a team being able to have enough players to play. If you are interested in becoming a West Houseleague spare player – please complete the online registration form and indicate “spare” in “request to play with” section.

PROVINCIALS 2015

2 teams from TWBHA participated in this year’s provincials.
Our B team went 3-0 in the round robin and faced Oshawa in the semis.
It was a hard fought game, unfortunately Oshawa prevailed.
Our Master’s team won the gold in the final against Trenton.
Thanks to all the players, coaches, family and friends who helped make this another incredible weekend!
